Salus populi suprema lex –The health of the people is the greatest law

He’ll be there to answer questions at People’s Question Time, a twice yearly event where the Mayor and London Assembly answer questions from local people.

The Save Lewisham Hospital Campaign will question Boris on why his friends in government are trying to close down large parts of OUR hospital. We want to know what Boris intends to do and exactly how much does he care for the people of Lewisham.

We’re asking our supporters to pack the Broadway Theatre and send Boris and his friend Jeremy Hunt a strong message that the people of Lewisham will not accept his decision and that the fight goes on.

Gather from 6pm onwards outside the Catford Broadway theatre for this red carpet event! Boris Lookalikes, street theatre and much more.

Get your tickets by applying here NOW http://talklondon.london.gov.uk/forms/thank-you?event=265

See below for info on timings. It’s at The Broadway Theatre, Catford – be there by 6 to make sure of getting in.

  1. Hazel Waters says:

Why is it that Boris Johnson can say so much about putting airports in estuaries – for which he has no remit – but is absolutely silent about the decimation of hospital services across the capital?
But then,it really is Orwellian, this notion that slashing A&E saves patients’ lives. Maybe he is just lost for words at the effrontery that claims that a) when someone is taken to A&E the paramedics have already correctly diagnosed the casualty, so can take him/her to the right hospital or b) that, in any case, you are now rationed to suffering the following conditions: stroke, heart attack, road traffic acident, or minor fall/fracture. Is this the latest of the current goverhment’s austerity measures?
